Primary Education is an
Educational program in Jordan consisting of 2 years of pre-school education,
ten years of basic education and 2 years of either an academic or secondary
vocational high school. Elementary
school is integrated with so-called secondary education elsewhere. Scholars can attend private or public
schools.
Secondary Education in
Jordan is that academic high schools are still beset by class and gender
discrimination. Students study there for
2 years after that they can register to continue to university. Subjects include Arabic, biology, chemistry,
computer science, earth science, English, mathematics, physics, social science,
and Islamic studies (except Christianity).
Vocational education
for students who prefer, or who tend to be practical, can attend 2 years of
vocational training in technical high schools.
Here they receive intensive vocational exposure including
internships. Both can open doors at
community colleges and also at universities.
Tertiary Education
consists of various public and private universities in Jordan where around 2.5%
of the population is registered at a time.
Their students can take bachelor, master and doctoral programs, be
educated as teachers, or take non-traditional distance learning courses as
well.
And I want to said “ Thank you very much to Sakine Kylief (my friend in
high school) who has been told a story about tertiary education in Jordan. Hopefully, Kiky and other friends who are
studying in Jordan will be successful. ”
For the education system in universities in Jordan, the average student
from Indonesia receives financial assistance from the Indonesian Republic
Embassy for the administration of campus buildings. So those who get help only
pay per semester. One Semester is 4 months, uts is held 2 times and there is a
final exam so the total exam taken is 3 times in one semester. In Jordan the
same as other countries, using a free system of choosing lecturers. The class
also does not depend on the level (for example semester 3 and semester 3 as
well but it is not like that) so all classes depend on courses taken by each
student. For vacation time in every break from winter to summer, there is a
3-month vacation. And there is a short
semester registration for 2 months. So if a student takes a short semester, he
only takes one month off. Short semester as in Indonesia, the learning system
is faster. There is an absence, but every semester we can be absent 6 times.
That does not include pain, permits, etc. So it's really absent. Then there is
also no paper/thesis of the lecture system talaqqi (listening to lecturers).
